Day 1 Rome

​Arrival at Rome Fiumicino airport, transfer to the hotel by a private car. You'll be free for the rest of the day for an initial exploration of the Eternal City. 

 

Day 2 Rome

Breakfast at the hotel,  then why not discover the most famous symbols of Rome, such as the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Spain Square?

 

Day 3 Rome

Breakfast at the hotel and day at leisure, maybe you'd like the Vatican, Trastevere (my favourite part of Rome) or a visit to one of the museums? .

Day 4 Rome - Florence

After breakfast at the hotel, take the high-speed train to Florence; a journey of about 1h 30’. After arriving we make our way to the hotel and have free time to explore.
 

 

Day 5 Florence - Chianti - Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will have the chance to discover the famous Chianti area and its rolling hills with a half day tour from Florence.

 

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the world-famous Tuscan countryside. Your journey through the Chianti wine region begins with a visit to a beautiful family-run estate, whose belief is that making beautiful wine is an art. You will see and have the opportunity to walk around the small vineyards on the hills above Greve in Chianti, where the family produces their fine Chianti wines, and explore the cellars while learning about the wine making and ageing process. You will not be able to leave before having tasted Chianti wine accompanied by local products. Return to Florence and overnight stay at the hotel. 

 

Day 6 Florence - Monterosso

After breakfast at the hotel, we board the regional train to Monterosso with change in Pisa or La Spezia. The journey takes about 3h. Monterosso is the starting city to explore the famous Cinque Terre, the stretch of coast with 5 fishing villages perched over the sea: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.

 

A two-day Cinque Terre Train Card is included, which allows access to the National Park area and the use of regional trains that connect the villages and of local buses. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

​Day 7 Monterosso

​Breakfast at the hotel, then free day to continue the visit of the Cinque Terre. Maybe wine tasting in Manarola or Monterosso to taste local wines or a Pesto experience to discover the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine with this home pesto making. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8 Monterosso

​Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and end of the tour. Continue your journey or fly home, the choice is yours
