Day 1 | UK to Zambia
Fly overnight to Livingstone, gateway to Victoria Falls.
Day 2 | Arrival in Livingstone
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free to rest or enjoy your first glimpse of Zambia’s warm hospitality.
Day 3 | Victoria Falls & Sunset on the Zambezi
Stand before Victoria Falls, the “Smoke that Thunders”. A guided tour reveals viewpoints where the spray rises high into the sky. In the evening, sail the Zambezi River on a sunset cruise, watching elephants drink at the banks as the sky glows red and gold.
Day 4 | Into Botswana
Cross into Botswana and travel to your lodge in Chobe National Park. After settling in, take your first safari drive in search of elephants, buffalo, and big cats.
Day 5 | Game Drives & River Safari
Rise early for a dawn game drive, when predators are most active. In the afternoon, board a riverboat and watch elephants cross the Chobe, hippos wallow in the shallows, and birdlife fill the skies.
Day 6 | Leisure in the Wild
Enjoy a slower pace at your lodge, with the chance to join optional activities or simply soak up the wilderness views.
Day 7 | To Cape Town
Return to Zambia for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy your first evening in South Africa’s vibrant Mother City.
Day 8 | Cape of Good Hope
Travel the Cape Peninsula, where dramatic cliffs meet the ocean. Visit Cape Point and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, before returning via scenic coastal roads.
Day 9 | The Winelands
Head into the vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Wander charming towns, sample world-class wines, and enjoy tastings in a historic 300-year-old estate.
Day 10 | Cape Town at Leisure
A free day to explore as you wish. Perhaps ride the cable car up Table Mountain, stroll the V&A Waterfront, or join an optional excursion to Robben Island.
Day 11 | Farewell to Africa
Enjoy a final morning before your transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
Day 12 | Arrival in the UK
Land back in the UK with a heart full of memories — waterfalls, safaris, and sunsets.
